Anker Nano Travel Adapter 5-in-1 (20W)
The simplest choice for phones, watches, earbuds, tablets and other everyday travel tech.
Official specifications, established manufacturer and extensive product feedback.
What we like
- One AC outlet, two USB-C and two USB-A ports
- Compact and light at about 107g
- Plug support for the main US, EU, UK and Australian formats
- 20W USB-C is suitable for modern phone fast charging
Things to know
- 20W is not a laptop-class output
- USB power is shared when several ports are used
- Not a voltage converter
Valiro verdict
For a normal holiday, this is the most balanced option. It is compact, easy to understand and avoids paying for laptop power that many travellers do not need. Choose it when reliability and simplicity matter more than maximum wattage.

Baseus EnerCore CG11 Universal Travel Adapter (70W)
A high-output all-in-one option with a retractable USB-C cable built into the adapter.
Official specifications, UK product listing and a clearly documented charging design.
What we like
- Up to 70W total USB output
- Built-in retractable USB-C cable
- Can power six devices through two AC outlets and four USB connections
- Suitable for many USB-C laptops as well as phones and tablets
Things to know
- Costs more and weighs more than the Anker
- Available power is divided when several devices charge together
- May become warm under sustained high load
- Not a voltage converter
Valiro verdict
This is the strongest all-round package for someone who travels with a laptop. The retractable cable is genuinely useful and the 70W output reduces the need to pack a separate laptop charger. It is more product than a casual holidaymaker needs, but excellent for work trips.

UGREEN Nexode 65W 3-Port Travel Charger
A compact GaN charger with interchangeable UK, EU and US plug heads.
Detailed official UK listing, 65W specification, warranty and substantial customer feedback.
What we like
- 65W output is suitable for many USB-C laptops
- Two USB-C ports and one USB-A port
- Interchangeable UK, EU and US plug heads
- Two-year manufacturer warranty listed in the UK
Things to know
- No universal AC socket for another mains plug
- Does not include an Australian plug head
- Power is shared between connected devices
Valiro verdict
The UGREEN is the neatest choice for travellers who want a proper high-power charger rather than a universal pass-through adapter. It is particularly attractive at its current sale price, but destination coverage is narrower than the Anker or Baseus.

Poukey Universal Travel Adapter
A low-cost universal adapter with two USB-C, two USB-A and one AC socket.
The retailer listing contains useful specifications and customer ratings, but independent testing is limited.
What we like
- Low purchase price
- Charges up to five devices
- Compact 108g design
- UKCA and CE claims are stated on the listing
Things to know
- Far less independent evidence than the other three
- USB-C output is modest compared with laptop-ready options
- Marketplace availability can change
- Not a voltage converter
Valiro verdict
This keeps a genuine budget choice in the comparison, but it is not our first recommendation. The lower score reflects uncertainty, not simply price. We would advise buyers to check the exact seller, listing details and current reviews before ordering.

IMPORTANT
Travel adapters do not convert voltage
Check that every device is compatible with the destination's voltage before plugging it in. Hair dryers, straighteners and other high-power appliances require particular care. Buy electrical products from a traceable retailer and stop using any adapter that becomes damaged, loose or unusually hot.
HOW WE SCORE
The Valiro Score
Our score combines usefulness, design, charging capability, value and confidence in the available evidence. It is an editorial assessment, not laboratory certification. We have not personally bench-tested these four products yet, so the page clearly distinguishes manufacturer claims from our judgement.
